3 teams involved and pitch booked for 3 hours, till 5pm.

Please leave a message in the forums, or call and confirm if you are available, we’ll need to let the other teams know ASAP.

Hey all,

Just received an email from Daragh about our upcoming games.

We have booked the same venue in Gwangyang Eup for the following dates in December,

Saturday 1st December 11am-2pm
Sunday 16th December 1pm-4pm
Also we have a tournament scheduled in Gwangyang Eup for December 23rd (We were invited by Mr. Kim whose team we played last week!)

Yet ANOTHER thank you!

Well I’ll be darned. The outpouring of support for our team has been phenomenal.

Here’s an email + picture Welshy sent me this afternoon.

“The hands on our logo could get very cold this winter, however, help is at hand (excuse the pun) Earlier today a Mr Kim, (Manager of the team who showed us how to play the game this weekend) provided the club with a load of free and warm football gloves so that we don’t lose any fingers this winter from frost bite. So on behalf of S.I.F.C. I would like to give a huge thank you to Mr Kim.

 

The gloves will be handed out only to those who decide to turn up for training this weekend. So I hope we can hand out a load of gloves this Saturday.“

Welshy has just informed me that the kind people in the photos attached donated generously to our team. I believe the figure was somewhere in the W100,000 range. Yes, that’s right, W100,000!!

 Hey guys,

Just to echo what Brian said. I think all of us should be courteous and not get into any sort of fights. I know Daragh loves flying in with Kung-Fu tackles and I’m guilty of tackling from behind! We should try to be on our best behaviour, especially if we have little kids watching us! (YIKES! No pressure!)

So yea, be good boys!!!
